The Cederberg is a wilderness area, situated just two and a half hours drive north of Cape Town.
It is an area of awesome beauty and magnificence and offers many exceptional options for walking. . It is an arid mountainous area etched with crystal clear mountain streams. The area has been settled for centuries but the current farmers have worked together with The National Parks Department to create a highly successful conservancy in which stock farmers coexist with Leopards
We customise our walks in The Cederberg depending on the time available to our guests, but we always include some of the iconic routes as well as visits to the very remote subsistence mission-station outposts.
