Four Seasons In One Day
Cape Town is famous for its rapidly changing weather and we certainly experienced this today. We had four seasons in a single day. We started out in cloud and mist and while ascending the mounain it cleared and the temperature soared.

We reached the summit in sunlight with accummulating cloud but still able to enjoy magnificent views all around.
Not long after this we were engulfed by cloud and bufetted by wind.
We even had some “snow”. This is Syncarpha vestita commonly know as “Cape Snow”. When it grows in large clumps it resembles snow!
We eventually emerged from the mist and cloud to incredible views onto the clear ocean below.
