Luggage to Istanbul, Finns to Table Mountain

Olympia Travel sent another group of enthusiastic Finns to enjoy the Mountains In The Sea Hike. Unfortunately when their luggage heard the weather predictions for today, it went instead to Istabul. As a result my

group was under-equipped when we assaulted Table Mountain (or when Table Mountain assaulted us, as it turns-out).

However Cape Town weather is predictably unpredictable and soon we were out of th emist and the howling wind and enjoying perfect weather and beautiful views.

The flowers at this time of year are special and sections of Table Mountain were covered with Moraea neglecta

Another special flower which is characteristic of this time of year that we saw was Liparia splendens – the Mountain Dahlia.
